​EXCITEMENT filled the air at Academia on October 19 as almost 400 nurses and guests were treated to an exclusive screening of the first episode of You Can Be An Angel 2.

And soaking in the moment was Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Health & the Environment and Water Resources.

Dr Khor, who teamed up with Chief Nursing Officer Tan Soh Chin to make a cameo appearance in the second season of the popular MediaCorp Channel 8 nursing drama, was joined at the screening by PS Chan Heng Kee and other members of MOH/H senior management. Also in attendance were the stars of the drama Zoe Tay, Bryan Wong, Rebecca Lim, Xiang Yun, Carrie Wong and Zheng Geping, much to the delight of the audience.

The guests were treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the drama, complete with hilarious bloopers and highlights. The cast members, who shared their experiences during filming, also praised the nurses from our public healthcare institutions who were the show’s technical consultants.
As the pictures show, our nurses had a wonderful time and the first episode received much applause. You Can Be An Angel 2 airs on Channel 8 every weeknight at 9pm from November 1 to 28.
