CREATE, which stands for Career Resourcing and
dEvelopment of Allied health TalEnts, is a non-mandatory centralised employment scheme for allied health professionals (AHPs) employed by MOHH. Since its inception in 2012, the scheme has facilitated career deployment in the community care sector. In 2015, CREATE was enhanced to CREATE+ to broaden its scope, extending allied health services to all types of healthcare organisations and the social services sector.
CREATE+ aims to grow and manage a sustainable pool of AHPs under CREATE+ to support the development of allied health services.
Under the CREATE+ initiative, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists will be offered a career pathway and development opportunities similar to that offered by the public acute sector. This initiative will be extended to encompass the recruitment of other AHPs in the near future.
