The Healthcare Humanity Awards (HHA) 2025 honoured 100 exceptional individuals and teams who exemplify the humanistic values that underpin Singapore’s healthcare system. Since its establishment in 2004, the HHA has continued the legacy of the Courage Award by the Courage Fund, which recognised healthcare workers for their courage and selfless dedication during the 2003 SARS outbreak. Today, the HHA continues to honour those who go above and beyond the call of duty to offer care and comfort to those in need.

Distinctive in its inclusivity, the HHA recognises individuals and teams across Singapore’s entire public and private healthcare landscape, from acute and community hospitals to home care services, allied health, and essential support functions. Awardees span every discipline and role, from those providing direct patient care to those whose work sustains services in the community.

President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Patron-in-Chief of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), graced the HHA 2025 ceremony as Guest of Honour and presented the awards to this year’s recipients. He shared, “Our healthcare professionals meet people when they are down and help them find strength again. It is deeply human work. Our award recipients reflect a true calling, of caring and serving selflessly.”

As the organiser of the HHA since 2023, MOHH is proud to continue recognising and celebrating the people who embody the heart of Singapore's healthcare community, whose humanity and service uplift patients, families, colleagues, as well as the wider community.
