The MOHH whistleblowing channels provide secure and confidential ways for individuals to report concerns or wrongdoing, whether actual or suspected, without fear of reprisal. 

Whistleblowers should report their concerns in good faith. False, frivolous, or malicious allegations are not condoned.  

MOHH will keep the whistleblower’s identity confidential unless disclosure is required by law or agreed upon, and will inform the whistleblower beforehand of any necessary disclosure.

All investigations will be carried out independently and in accordance with the applicable response protocol(s).

Note: These whistleblowing channels are not intended for the reporting of employee grievances, general patient/client feedback, breach of data confidentiality, and cybersecurity incidents. Such matters should be raised through the appropriate internal channels.

To enable MOHH to effectively investigate your concerns, the following information should be provided, where possible:
  • Description of the misconduct;
  • Name of the person(s) involved;
  • Name of the witness(es);
  • Date, time, and location of the incident(s);
  • Money or assets involved, if any;
  • Frequency of incident(s); and
  • Supporting evidence.

MOHH encourages whistleblowers to leave their names/contact details in case further information or clarification is required. While anonymous reports will be given due consideration and investigated on their own merits, an anonymous whistleblower should be aware that MOHH’s ability to investigate or follow up on the report may be limited if the whistleblower cannot be contacted for further questions.
