MOHH hosted the inaugural Heart of Healthcare event, a four-day celebration of Singapore’s public healthcare system’s resilience and evolution. As the first-ever sector-wide showcase presented in a single event, the Heart of Healthcare featured a mix of immersive exhibits, career show-and-tells, and educational activities that allowed more than 7,000 visitors to learn about the entire sector experientially.

Held from 13 to 16 February 2025 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, the event was open to students, parents, healthcare professionals, and the general public. The interactive exhibition incorporated a blend of physical and digital (phygital) games, photo booths, and heartwarming stories shared by healthcare professionals. Visitors were able to experience our public healthcare system’s journey through the passage of time.

The careers and scholarships segment of the event, curated by MOHH’s Healthcare Scholarships and Talent (HST) team, featured representatives from our public healthcare clusters – NHG Health, National University Health System, and SingHealth – as well as colleagues from MOHH and our subsidiaries, including the Agency for Integrated Care, Synapxe, and Vanguard Healthcare.

Through hands-on demonstrations and taster sessions, these healthcare professionals provided insights into their work in various healthcare disciplines and how they contribute to Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. Our HST team, as well as academic partners, engaged future healthcare professionals on how they can shape their careers through the various academic options and opportunities available.

The event was also graced by Minister for Health Mr Ong Ye Kung, Second Minister for Health Mr Masagos Zulkifli, and Minister of State for Health Mdm Rahayu Mahzam.
